Novelene Pakalana (Paka) Keiki Robinson, 61 of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday October 8, 2020. Born May 7, 1959 in Nanakuli, Hawaii. She was the daughter of the late William H.W.S. Keiki Sr. and Esther Latai Alapai Keiki.
She is survived by her sons, Alyx Kekoa FC Roby Robinson and William "Willie" Keiki; brothers: William "Wongie' Keiki Jr., Baldwin "Kaena" Keiki, Wayne "Kui Kong" Keiki, and Craig "Vuni" Keiki; sisters, Charmaine "Pikake" Mokiao and Harolynn "Lokelani" Yuen; twenty-five nieces and nephews; fifty-one grand-nieces and -nephews; eighteen great-grand nieces and -nephews; and hundreds of cousins, aunties and uncles.
Pakalana graduated from Mrs. Mary Wallace Private School. She attended Nanaikapono Elementary and a proud Graduate of Nanakuli High and Intermediate School, Class of 1977. She received her degrees from Brigham Young University-Hawaii and Greenville Tech College. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints she developed many talents including her career at Nanakuli Elementary as an Educational Assistant followed by her sacrifice moving to South Carolina becoming a Program Manager for Sunbelt Human Advancement Resources Inc. (AKA-S.H.A.R.E). She loved teaching her children at Headstart. In her spare time she would watch her Food Network channel and favorite show Pioneer Woman. She enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking, she was an awesome baker making all kinds of desserts, especially her famous "Almond Cookies." Paka was a stellar volleyball player and awesome point guard basketball player. She was highly skilled playing ping pong.
She was predeceased by her son, Christopher Hooikaikamaeola Mahiola Robinson and sister, Johanna Matala Puahinano Keiki Mokiao.
The family will receive friends Saturday November 7, 2020 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon at Palmetto Mortuary, 1017 Mauldin Road, Greenville, SC 29607. Aloha OE at 10:45 AM - Services at 11:00 AM with Bishop David Dyrhaug Officiating. Internment will be private. Social distancing recommended and masks, sanitizers will be provided.
