Obituary for Patricia Lynn Bansky
Patricia "Pat" Lynn Bansky (Herron), 66, of Fountain Inn, SC, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 20, 2022. She was born July 8, 1955, in Martinsburg, WV to the late Ethel Faircloth and Allen Rich Bowman.
Pat was a generous spirit who enjoyed valuable time with her friends from church. There was nowhere else she would rather be than walking the beach with those she loved most. Pat poured her heart and soul into gardening, canning and baking, but cooking her favorite foods for others was her greatest joy.
Pat was the love of Richard Herron's life. She is survived by her daughter, Trish Bansky; son, Jason Weaver; stepsons: Blake, Luke and Marc Herron; 11 grandchildren; brother, John Bowman; sisters: Sharon Longerbeam, Cynthia Moore, Kimberly Warhurst, Debra Shively, and Kelly Cooper; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Beverly Bowman and Susan DeWitt; brothers: Alan, Steven, and Kevin Bowman; and nephew, Bobby Moore.
The family would like to extend a very special "thank you" to Hospice of the Upstate for their compassion in caring for Pat during this time.
A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Faith Renewed Church, 505 S Main St Mauldin, SC 29622. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 225 Halton Rd., Greenville, SC 29607, www.hospiceoftheupstate.com.
