Obituary for Patricia Ann Emery (Woody)
Patricia Ann Emery, 65, widow of Allen Emery, of Laurens, SC, gained her heavenly wings on May 28, 2022. Born in Laurens she was the daughter of George Woody and the late Martha Woody.
Patricia and her husband still always had date nights every Friday. She would dress up so beautiful and fancy and they would go dancing. She loved her family and friends and she always tried to take care of everyone! Patricia sure loved her daddy! At 65 she was still a daddy’s girl! Pat and Allen were true soulmates married for 45 years and went to heaven within 3 months of each other.
Patricia is survived by her son, Ray Allen Emery; daughter, Joni Michelle Emery (BJ Sams); grandchildren, Brian Emery, Breanna Knight, Baylee Knight, Brooke Knight and Kamron Powers; great grandchildren, Kaiden Emery, Branson Emery, McKinley Johnson, Rylynn Emery, Brynleigh Brown, and Korbin Brown; other family members, Magan Coleman and Tyler Brown; special friends, Sharon Sikes, Missy Gunnels and Jessica Ashmore.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Andy Woody; grandchild, Patrick Emery; and daughter in law, April Emery.
Gathering of family and friends will be held at Eastside Baptist Church 333 Conway Ave Laurens, SC 29360 on June 11, 2022 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM.
