Obituary for Peter John Lisnerski
Peter John Lisnerski, 34, of Greenville, SC went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
Peter is survived by his parents, Mary Anne Lisnerski and William Lisnerski; his siblings, Jill Solomon (Scott), Bill Powers (Dana), Mary Astyk (Joel) and Annmarie Aman (Jeff); his seven nephews and two nieces. In addition to his immediate family, Peter was a nephew and cousin to many as well as a friend to those who live in Western New York, Charlotte, NC and Greenville, SC.
Peter was preceded in death by his grandparents Harold "Tar" and Catherine "Kay" Furlong; John and Celia Lisnerski.
Throughout Peter’s life, he developed a passion for cooking, which included his famous Dirty Burgers that he whipped up frequently for family and friends. He loved the game of golf and played on many courses, but his favorite was just swinging clubs at TopGolf. Over the past year, Peter touched many lives volunteering as a counselor where he was known to frequently quote scriptures of the Lord and provide guidance to those in need.
All who knew Peter loved his infectious smile and laughter that one could hear a mile away. He had a compassionate soul who would give the shirt off his back to help those in need. Peter would want all of us to remember him for the word he spent his life living towards: HOPE.

Due to the virus pandemic and shelter in place orders, we will announce a Celebration of Peter's Life when it's safe to travel and to, once again, hug and give comfort to each other.
