Raymond Stewart Godsey, 53, went to be with the lord on May 10th 2021 at his home in Greenville, SC..
Ray was born on January 10th 1968 in Greenville, SC.
He was the son of the late Raymond Stewart Godsey and Janet Lorraine Thompson. Survived by two sisters, Toni Nix ,Shelly Weathers; children, Pamela Godsey, Andrew Easterday (Brittney), Alex Alexander (Katie), Steven Fortner (Lauren), Rikki Brock, Randi Brock, grandbabies and best friend Mitchell Ward Burgess "Satchel".
In addition to his father, Ray was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Gracilyn K. Easterday.
Ray was a loyal long time employee of Lee Commercial Services. Ray was an amazing Peepaw. He best friend Mitchell loved to call him "Slacker"
He left an impact on everyone he met. He was the best at bringing smiles on hard days and great at giving advice because of what all he had endured in his life.
Ray will live on in his loved one's memories forever.
