Obituary for Richard Lee Brown
Richard L. Brown, 71, native of Greenville, SC, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 25, 2023. He was the son of the late Bessie Mae Cope and Noah Brown.
Richard is survived by his wife, Marquita Brown; sons, Richard L Brown, Jr. (Kerrie), and Patrick W. Brown (Tara); daughter, Julie Sexton; grandchildren: Mackenzie, Blake, Seanna, Torrie, Ella, Tinsley, and Grace; sister, Brenda Vickery; and parents, Bessie Mae Cope and Noah Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: James Brown, Peggy Hall, and Julie Gardo.
Richard enjoyed fishing, working, and boating. He was a godly man and will be remembered as being a great father and grandfather. He always caught the biggest fish and would do anything for his family.
A memorial service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Liberty Ministries Church International, 3006 Old Easley Bridge Rd., Greenville, SC 29611. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior, beginning 11:00 AM.
