Obituary for Richard James Buckman
Richard James Buckman, born May 29, 1966, went to be with the Lord February 18, 2022. Richard enjoyed being a member of First Baptist Spartanburg; he was active in Bible studies, worship, and Celebrate Recovery. He loved Jesus and his new life. Richard also enjoyed spending time with his step-son and fishing. Everyone loved Richard.
Survivors include his Wife, Katie Buckman; step sons, Mark T. Lott, James M. Lott (Candyce); daughter, Alexandra Webber; step sister, Teresa South; father, James Buckman; step mother, Marie Buckman; two grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by mother, Sarah Claybough.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, with a visitation at 1:30 PM leading into the service at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Spartanburg, 250 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
