Robert Earl Martin, 70, of Greenville, South Carolina with to be with the Lord Monday, November 28, 2022. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina October 10, 1052 to his late partents Clarence R. Martin & Frances Martin.
Robert is survived by his son Roger Martin of Fairplay, SC; brother, James Martin, of Easley, SC; grandchildren, Jamie & Rene" Thrift, of Easley, SC, Angie & Brian Cox, of Travelers Rest, SC; great grand children, Brian & Shannon Thrift, Easley, SC, Brittany Thrift of Greenville, SC, Jacob Cox of Travelers Rest, SC, Jessica Cox of Travelers Rest, SC; great great grandchildren, Jax William Thrift of Easley, SC, Maylee Lynn Cox of Travelers Rest, SC; caregivers, Jimmy & Linda Thrift of Greenville, SC; special friends, Billy Anglin of Greenville, SC, Terry Bryant of Greenville, SC, Ivan Bautista of Greenville, SC, Pam Woody of Easley, SC, Brooke Barnette of Taylors, SC, Kay Holbert of Thomason, GA, Jennifer Anderson of Greenville, SC, Aida Bryant & family of Macon GA, Rusty Patterson & Wilma Bennett of Greenville, SC, Sylvia Hart & family of Honea Path, SC, Randy Craine & employees at Builders First Source in Greenville, SC.
In addition to his parents Robert was preceded in death by his companion of 32 years, Elsie Anglin; brother, Wilkie Martin, and sister Winnie Mae Churchwell.
He loved anything and everything that had to do with fishing and hunting. He'll be remember for his kind heart and willingness to help anyone in need.
A visitation and memorial service will be held Saturday, December 17th, 2022 from 1pm to 3pm at Westville Church of God of Prophecy, 510 Pendleton Road, Greenville, SC 29611.
