Obituary for Robert Leon Smith
Robert Leon Smith, 75, husband of Angela Smith for 33 years, has been received into the Lord's loving arms on Sunday, August 2, 2020.
Born in Asheville, NC, he was the son of Kelton and Wennonah Smith. He was a US Air Force veteran and retired from Goodyear Auto Service and Van Lott Inc, having worked 20 plus years at each. A lover of all sports but mostly basketball, he was an avid Tar Heel fan.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children: Jeff, Ty, Nicholas, and Toliver. He lived a full life and will be loved and missed by many.
Private graveside services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenville Meals on Wheels, Greenville Humane Society, or the McCall Hospice House of Greenville.
