Obituary for Robert Edgar Stark
Robert E. Stark D.D.S passed into the arms of the Lord March 11, 2022 at Open Arms Hospice in Simpsonville, South Carolina at the age of 73 years old. He was the son of Edgar F. Stark and Doris (Berger) Stark of Ashley,
PA, born May 16, 1948.
Bob graduated from Hanover High School, Hanover Twp. PA class of 1966 Furthering his education at Wilkes College, Tulane University and Temple University, graduating with a doctorate in dental science. Bob had a long and successful dental career, performing surgery for Palmetto Denture in Simpsonville, SC. for 43 years. Bob was called to do missionary work with Living Waters, bringing his surgery skills to remote places: Africa, Guatamala, Belize and Nicaragua. Bob was an Eagle Scout, Troop 101, Ashley, PA.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, and is survived by children: Joe Stark (Sarah) of Pittsburgh, PA, Alyse Downs (Andy) of Westminster, CO, Ethan Stark of Travelers Rest, SC and twin daughters Allison and Claire, to whom Bob devoted his life the past 16 yrs. Bob will also forever be in the hearts of his brother, Ted Stark (Lou Ann) of Wyoming, PA; sisters, Margaret Uzups (Pete), Dallas, PA and Gail Stark (Lou) of Benton, PA; several nieces and nephews; and very best friend, David Rich.
He was the oldest living member of the Stark family. He held all the memories, sharing them with anyone who cared to listen. He also bore all the generational pain and died gracefully with this burden.
In Bobs words:
" The joy and good times I would like to pass on to everyone. I have
prayed for all of you fervently and steadfastly. If I leave anything, It is
Love... Daddy, Brother, Uncle and Friend."

His final care is entrusted to Palmetto Mortuary. Private services will be held with family in Pennsylvania.
