Obituary for Rodney Ray True
Rodney Ray True, 66, of Duncan, SC, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022. He was born in Wichita, KS to Charlene and the late Jack True.
In addition to his mother, Rodney is survived by his loving wife Lisa True; daughter, Savanna True; sons, Nick and Matt True; sisters, Denise Lawrence (Al) and Stephanie True.
Rodney enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, playing games, and making people laugh. He spent time gardening, woodworking, and taking care of fish in aquariums, and loved any movie starring Jason Statham. Rodney always found the light and managed to spread joy anywhere he went. He made anyone he spoke with feel special and trusted.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2022 in the chapel of Palmetto Mortuary, 1017 Mauldin Rd., Greenville, SC 29607. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior, beginning 11:00 AM.

"Rodney was not only my husband, but my best friend. He could take all my worries away. We never had to try and fill the quiet time because just holding hands said everything for us. He was my light in the darkness - a light that never can be replaced. I love you always or as we would say each night, 'I love you more.""
