Obituary for Samuel Steven Yancey
Samuel Steven Yancey, 64, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at McCall's Hospice House surrounded by his family. He was born in Canton, GA to his parents Samuel Yancey and Mary Betty Worley Yancey.
Samuel is survived by his loving wife Donna Henderson Yancey; mother, Mary Yancey; sons, Austin Yancey (Jean), stepson Joey Welsh (Amy); daughters, Amy Yancey, stepdaughter, Becky Patterson; siblings, Susan Y. King (John), Jonathan Lesley Yancey (Judi); grandson, J.T. Yancey, step grandson, Lucas Patterson, Ethan Welsh, Step granddaughter, Kaylynn Welsh.
He was preceded in death by is father Samuel Yancey.
Samuel loved fishing, outdoors, and Nascar Racing. He will be remembered for his loving heart and humorous personality. Everyone that knew him could always share a laugh with him. He would even help a stranger in need. Always loved being around people. Especially thru his work which was in construction.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society
