Obituary for Sandy Somerville
Sandy Lynn Mary Bridget Somerville, 58, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2023. She is survived by her parents Lorne and Virginia Greenwood, and Susan Greenwood and Jim Laduke.
She is survived by her husband Dave Somerville, her children David Bosworth and Tory Somerville, her brother Steve Greenwood and her sister-in-law Sue Greenwood, her grandchild Lucy Somerville, several nieces and nephews, and many special friends such as the Harrison Family, the Crumbliss Family, the Sternberg Family, Gwen Handford, and Jeff Powers.
Sandy was preceded in death by her sister Tammy Prior, her relatives Ralph and Iva Doxtater, Clifford and Sadie Greenwood, Mary Prior, and her special friend Bailee Handford.
Sandy loved volunteering in all facets of special needs and spending time with her kids and family. She will be remembered for her kind and generous heart and giving to a fault to everyone. Sandy will be dearly missed, but we are glad she went to be with Jesus. We can’t wait to reunite.
The memorial service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 1pm at Grace Church on Pelham Rd at the Student Center. The burial will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 at 1pm at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude, David’s Table, or Mauldin Miracle League.
