Obituary for Shirlee Ann Goodwin (Childs)
Shirlee Ann Childs Goodwin, 72, of Greenville, South Carolina, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 12th, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Childs and Amanda Arizona Tucker.
She is survived by her sons, Welton Booker Jr., Ossie Bee Lloyd Booker; daughter, Wanda Denise Booker Blassingame; sisters, Florence Lee, Harlem, NY, Bertha Tolliver, Fountain Inn, SC, Bessie Davis, Greenville, SC; brothers, S.J Greene, Greenville, SC, Raymond Shell Jr. Green, Greenville, SC, Kelley Shell, Greenville, SC, Lawrence Childs Jr.; six grand children; eight great grandchildren, and daughter in-law Inki Booker.
She was preceded in death by Malcolm Goodwin; siblings, Dessie Shell Dickerson, Viola Shell, Grover Green, Robert Shell Green, Henry Gray, Willie Lee Shell, Walter Shell, and Willie B. Shell; grandson, Derrick Lee Dixon; daughter in-law, Eunice Lloyd Booker.
Shirlee enjoyed cooking, sewing and playing bingo. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grand children. She will be missed dearly, but is in her heavenly home now.
The family will like to give a special thanks to the McClendon family.
The family will have a service on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Palmetto Mortuary; 1017 Mauldin Road, Greenville, SC 29607. Visitation starting at 2pm-3pm and service from 3pm-4pm.
