Shirley Ann Strang Frampton, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

Born in Richmond, VA, a daughter of the late Harvey Lee Strang, Jr. and the late Isabell Atkins Strang, she was a devoted mother and grandmother (“Gogo”) who enjoyed spending time with her family and rooting on the Georgia Bulldogs. Shirley’s joy came from watching her children and grandchildren do the things they loved. More than anything she loved her family fiercely and gave them all she had. She was strong willed, independent, elegant, generous and kind and had an effortless sense of color and balance and style. Shirley’s legacy is abundantly present in her children and grandchildren. She was a warrior, and fought hard until the very end.

Surviving are her daughters, Isabell "Casey" Frampton Putnam (Jason), Charlotte Frampton Sauls (Regi), and Ann Harvey Frampton Shrum (Brandon); grandchildren, Ross, Talon, Tupper, Hazel, Henry, and Norah Claire; brothers, John Strang and Harvey Lee Strang, III; and her sister-in-law and dear friend, Susan Roberts Frampton.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.
