Stella Rose Edwards, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, 74, of Taylors, SC, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. She was born in Shawneetown, IL to the late Leta and James Maynard.

Stella is survived by her husband, John M. Edwards; sons: Christopher Edwards, Michael Edwards (Cheryl), and Steven Edwards (Ashley); grandchildren: Christy Anderson (Quintin), Alicia Raines, Lori Edwards, Charles Edwards, Alaina Stewart, and Joshua Edwards; great-grandchildren: Mariah Gray, Tristan Anderson, and Matthew Bullington; sister, Judy Maynard; niece, Katie Grant (Chris); and beloved pets: Buddy, Minnie, and Penny. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Robinson; and fur baby, Sadie.

Stella was a retired NICU nurse and loved helping newborn infants. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, poetry, and cross-stitching, but her greatest joy was her family.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Graceland East Memorial Park, 2206 Woodruff Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29681. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Rd., Greenville, SC 29607, www.greenvillehumane.com.
