Obituary for Terry Daniel Carnes
Terry Daniel Carnes, 64, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020. He was the son of the late Thomas and Evelyn Carnes.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Denise Carnes; son, Nathan Carnes(Lisa); siblings: Debbie Rumsey(Jerry), Mike Carnes(Jill), Ann Carnes Roberts; grandchild, Brody Carnes; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Teddy(Moses) Wyatt, Kenneth Wyatt, Carolyn(Jerri) Carnes; grandchild, Nathan Carnes Jr.; and special friends, Buck Simmons and James Boozer.
Terry loved fishing with his son and grandson. He enjoyed camping with family and friends, playing golf, and watching racing. Terry was always involved in all of his grandsons many activities and sports. He loved his church and his church family. He will be remembered for being a loving husband, papa, a great brother and friend. He was someone to look up to and always loved his family. Terry shared a special bond with his sister and enjoyed playing music with his brother. He will be missed dearly.
The visitation will be Wednesday September 23, 2020 at 11:00 am at New Life Baptist Church with the service to follow at 12:00pm. The burial will be at Graceland West Cemetery to follow the service.
