Obituary for Theresa Arkins
Theresa B. "Terri" Arkins, 99, of Greenville, SC, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021, 18 days before reaching her 100th birthday. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Frederick and Anna Seeger.
Terri is survived by her sons, Thomas (Victoria) and Richard (Pamela) Arkins; daughter, Janice Duchinski; six grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, her eight siblings and many dear friends.
Terri was a homemaker and along with her husband raised her family on Long Island in New York. She and husband John retired to Mt Pleasant, SC and enjoyed over two decades there playing golf and making new friends.
In 2005 the couple relocated to Rolling Green Village in Greenville, SC to be near their daughter. Terri made new friends and enjoyed the activities there. Her Catholic faith stayed strong throughout her life and she joined St Mary Magdalene Church in Simpsonville. Terri was known for her quick smile and helping hand and will be missed by many.
