Obituary for Thomas Craig Freeman
Thomas Craig Freeman, 63, resident of Fountain Inn, South Carolina went to be with The Lord on May 24, 2022.
He is survived by his step-son: Matthew Prater; step-daughter: Melissa Lautieri (Dustin); siblings: Lynn Woods, Pamela Rollins (David), Beverly Callaham (Brad), Janice Watson (Jim), Karen Heath (Phillip), Jennifer Drake (Jeff), Tim Freeman (Barbara), Kim Roberts (Butch); step-grandchildren: Audrey Lautieri, Hudson Lautieri, and Scarlett Lautieri. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Shirley Nancy Freeman; parents: Thomas Henry Freeman, Adelene Long Freeman; siblings: Steve Freeman, Til Freeman, Tommie Blankinship.
For the majority of his life, Thomas worked as a grading contractor and opened Sonshine Grading in Simpsonville, South Carolina. In addition to owning his own business, he was known for his missionary work and volunteering at community churches. He will be remembered for loving his family unconditionally; he was a caring husband and supportive father-figure to his step-children.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at Palmetto Mortuary on May 31, 2022 from 6:00-7:00PM, with the funeral service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
