Obituary for Thomas Ray Poston
Thomas Ray Poston, 52, of Powdersville, SC, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 20, 2022. He was born in Greenville, SC to Vicki Nix and the late Larry Poston.
Thomas graduated from Easley High School before beginning a 35-year career at Kloeckner Metals. He was a hard worker and was truly loved by his co-workers - and anyone who knew him. In his spare time, Thomas enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching NASCAR, cheering for his Gamecocks, and playfully annoying his wife. He will be dearly remembered for taking care of his family (getting sweet tea for his wife and cups of the "good ice" for his mother).
In addition to his mother, Thomas is survived by his wife of 24 years, Nicole; sons, Kevin (Nicole) and Damien Poston; grandchildren, Mason and Avery Poston; brother, Alan Poston (Vickie); beloved dachshund, Dottie and chihuahua, Rosie; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Thomas' Life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Palmetto Mortuary, 1017 Mauldin Rd., Greenville, SC 29607. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
