Obituary for Tommy Ray Hammond
Tommy Ray Hammond, 69, of Easley, SC, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at McCall Hospice House. He was born in Greenville, SC, to the late Raymond & Edna Cothran Hammond. Tommy is survived by his children, Brad Hammond, Curtis Hammond, Jonathan Koopman, Bryan Hammond, Carmelita Newman; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Sherman Hammond; siblings, Billy Hammond, Ronnie Hammond, Randy Hammond, and Ann Rector.
Tommy will be remembered for his love of old cars, Harley motorcycles, his kind giving heart, his generosity, and his tremendous love for his family.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Palmetto Mortuary from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 at Palmetto Mortuary with a burial to follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
