Obituary for Tracie Lynn Gilbert Ms.

Tracie Lynn Gilbert, 31 of Travelers Rest passed away on September 29, 2013. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of Henry Taylor Gilbert and Janet Medlin Mast. In addition to her parents she was survived by her daughter, Haidyn Taylor Howard, one brother Henry Chester Gilbert, and long-time friend Brandi Wood. She was predeceased by her fraternal grandparents, Henry and Sarah Silvers Gilbert, and her maternal grandparents Jim and Mary Cash Medlin. Tracie was known for her love for animals, especially horses; throughout life, Tracie had many loves whether it be coon hunting or making jewelry. The Jewel of Tracie’s eye was her daughter Haidyn. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at Pebble Creek Baptist Church, 1300 Reid School Road, Taylors, South Carolina, with the memorial service to follow. The family is at the home of her mother and her cousin Tim Gilbert. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Haidyn through Wells Fargo Bank, Travelers Rest South Carolina.
