Wanda Sue Meade Plumley, 80, of Piedmont, SC, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her daughter Constance, granddaughter Constance Jump, and dear friend, Cindy Ramirez. She was born in Ragland, WV to the late Mary Jane Farris and James Hansford Meade.

Wanda is survived by her daughters, Constance Rogers (Richard) of Piedmont, SC and Belinda Wright (Douglas) of Las Vegas, NV; sons, Carl Plumley (Tracy) of Sanford, NC and James Plumley (Terry) of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren: James McBride (Megan), Buddy Plumley (Jackie), Susan Wright, Paul Blaha (Brie), Constance Jump (Scott), Leigh Foley (Kevin), and Melinda Kate; great-grandchildren: Bradley McBride, Kason, Clayton and McKenzie Jump, Lily and Sheperd Wright, Solomon, Maddie and Charlotte Blaha, and the McBride twins; beloved canine companion, Georgie; and aforementioned dearest friend, Cindy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Arnold Plumley; and son, Arnold Plumley Jr.

Wanda never met a stranger. Her vibrant smile could light up a room. The love she had for the Lord knew no bounds and was only rivaled by the love she had for her family.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Flat Springs Baptist Church in Sanford, NC.
