Obituary for William Davis Garner Jr.
William Davis Garner, Jr., 64, of Piedmont, SC, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020. He was born in Chicago, IL to the late Katherine and William Davis Garner. William graduated from Greenville High before enrolling in the Army where he was a member of the 82nd Airborne Rangers.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandi Garner-Smith (Joshua); granddaughters, Alexzandra "Allee" JoLee Smith and Aubree Lane Smith; many nieces and nephews; sisters, Ruth Branyon of Honea Path, South Carolina, Faye Wawrzyniak of Illinois, Margaret Alexander of Honea Path, partner, Dianne Rollins; his buddy, Travis Rollins; and many other extended family, friends, and loved ones.
A celebration of his life will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Palmetto Mortuary, 1017 Mauldin Rd., Greenville, SC 29607. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
