Obituary for William Rainey
William T. "Bill" Rainey, 95, of Greenville, SC, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 30 , 2022.
Bill is survived by his son, Tommy Rainey; and grandson, Matt Rainey, of the home; as well as a host of other children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ovie Rainey in 2017.
Bill served in the US Army for nine years, with most of those years spent in the Korean War as a medical specialist.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Rd., Piedmont, SC 29673. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels Greenville, 15 Oregon St., Greenville, SC 29605, www.mealsonwheelsgreenville.org.
