i remember a younger man. as a childhood friend of his oldest daughter, Becky i have several fond memories. back to the days on texas ave. as me, becky, mitchell, chris and a couple other neighborhood kids would be playing in the yard, we would anxiously wait for bobby to come home from work. . as he turned onto oconee street, we would all run towards him. he would stop, wait on us all to get to him, and let us get in the back of the truck. he always gave us a ride. he was a funny man. some of my earliest memories revolve around the chapmans. rght after lisa and laurie were born, bobby helped my mother take my younger brother to the emergency room in the mddle of the night.. that was the first time i ever gave a baby a bottle. when bobby got home, he bragged about what a good job i had done feeding lisa. he was an amazing man. i also saw how he and billie loved each other. he was an awesome example of a daddy...when they moved to berea, i stayed in touch with them for quite some time. i was lucky enough to visit with him and billie about a year ago. they were still the same bobby and billie all those years later. he will be missed... love to all of the chapmns!!! suel linder smith
