The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Raymond Carter can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

My Big Brother

Raymond was my big brother , He carried me to school the first day I went , He was home on a leave from the Navy . I was so proud of him , The only child at school with a big navy brother, Then I turned my back . He slipped out the door (yes he left me there.)  was I mad .  Then as time went along he married Betty . The years passed and he moved back next door to me . He was very sickly now . We grew close once more , We enjoyed taking him to his favorite eating places . Raymond had a big heart , he love to give and to help people. He loved working at the Flea Market , Meeting new friends , He loved his Yorkie Buba ..Most of all he loved his church . Raymond loved the Lord . I know he is in Heaven today ,  Rejoicing with Mom and Dad Marylou and Bill.  . Our parents were Claude and Stella Carter Their Wedding Aniversary of 90 years was April 4 ,2016  .Raymond went home to the Lord on the 5th of April . I can just imagine that when they met him at the golden gate their first born ,What a wonderful gift for them . Now I am back where I started from , my big brother slipped out and left me, I am not mad at him , I am so proud of him . I would not call him back .  He no longer is hurting , He is in God's Hands now . What a glorious " BEAULAH Land " he now has . I love you big brother .
