Condolence: I worked with Dee in my capacity at the NC Academy of Family Physicians. I was shocked to hear of his tragic death today. He was a good man and I always enjoyed working with him. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence From: Coach Curtis & Nora Waters
Condolence: Mrs. Brown, Tracie and family: Curtis taught Dee at Franklin County Middle School and followed his career thru the years. He and Joey Whitlock were just talking about him on Sunday, so we were in total disbelief when Coach Rik Moore called with the news of his death on Monday evening. You have continued to be in our thoughts and prayers all week and especially today during the service time. We talked again on Wednesday with Joey and he was remembering how Dee lived his life true to his faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Joey's words were: you don't have to worry about Dee. There's no doubt where he is!) Please know that you will continue to be lifted up in our prayers in the days ahead as we ask God to give you strength, peace and comfort as only He can. Hugs and love.

Condolence: Mrs. Dowis( I know it's Brown now, but, you'll always be Mrs. Dowis in my mind). I' m so sorry that you have lost your son. I never knew Dee, but it sounds like he was a son to be proud of,not just for his accomplishments, but for the person he was! I lost my son in 2008 and there is no greater pain. Please know that you and your family are loved by many and their thoughts and prayers will help you through this terrible loss. Love to all!
