What I learned from Bob
Bob was my boss in early days of Magna, where I was the Quality Manager and he was the Plant Manager. We were preparing for very tough certification programs from Ford, GM, Chrysler. Bob was persistent for meeting attendees to come prepared, and in the end, injected his work discipline (be prepared, do your work, and don't waste time) to all the managers in the factory. All his meetings were standing, so we achieved success in a short time, and our average meeting time was 17 minutes!
I am grateful to Bob for teaching me how to work smart, be succinct and do my homework. I am sure he is organizing something wherever he is now.
